About

Nigel Kennedy is releasing his second book in autumn, titled Uncensored. Warner Classics are releasing a 3-CD compilation to accompany the book, the track listing done by Nigel himself, with excerpts from his book in the liner-notes.

This is not an autobiography, but a journey through Nigel Kennedyís sixty-four seasons played home and away. It begins on a freezing balcony in Brighton before taking in the Yehudi Menuhin School and New Yorkís Julliard School (of Artistic Mediocrity), various concert halls and recording studios, police forces around the world, Aston Villa and classical music as redefined by Nigel. Here are Nigelís thoughts on boxing, composing, Aston Villa, Vivaldi, violins and much more, all told in Nigelís inimitable voice and idiosyncratic fashion.
