The DVD is a recording of Bosch's Requiem taken from a performance on Friday 8 November 2013 in the Sint-Janskathedraal in 's-Hertogenbosch. This concert took place as part of the on-going event Jheronimus Bosch 500.
The introduction presents a short impression of the ambiance and the curtain raiser. This is followed by Lux æterna by György Ligeti, performed by the Nederlands Kamerkoor, and the world premiere of the Bosch Requiem by Rob Zuidam for soloists, choir and ensemble.
The soloists, Asko|Schönberg and the Nederlands Kamerkoor are directed by Reinbert de Leeuw. Finally, the author Louise O Fresco reads out her essay in the cathedral. A menu appears at the beginning of the DVD.
Duration: ca. 80 minutes
