About

Classic title tracks, themes and suites from films that became legends during Hollywood’s Golden Age, including the music for thrillers 'Vertigo' and 'Dial M For Murder'. The fabulous Clio Gould performs the second movement of Rózsa’s Violin Concerto, adapted by the composer as the music for Billy Wilder’s 'The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes'.

Performed with panache by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with Grammy nominated conductor José Serebrier.

This is the second in the RPO’s series The Golden Age of Hollywood recordings, and it was recorded at London’s Cadogan Hall.
