Etcetera Records was originally founded by David Rossiter and Michel Arcizet. In the early eighties they cherished the dream of founding a new label that would give room to repertoire that was being neglected by the major companies. This dream materialized in a rapidly growing catalogue with lots of unknown, forgotten and new music performed by excellent musicians. To this day, exploration and excellence are the bricks and mortar of Etcetera with Dirk De Greef and Roman Jans having taken over as the driving force. There is a strong focus on lesser-known repertoire and all Etcetera artists have distinct ideas about their instrument and the music they perform, with a high emphasis on authenticity.

Our Classical Exploration series consists of 10 special offers focusing on labels that are of special interest to collectors, but perhaps don't receive quite as much publicity as they deserve.
