Presentness is a collection of five solos and one duet by composer Olli Koskelin. Koskelini's composition production is very diverse and versatile, from calm melodies to fast rhythms.

The brilliant musicians on the album bring Koskelin’s music to life and bring out the fine details.

Olli Koskelin (b. 1955) studied composition under Jukka Tiensuu, Eero Hämeenniemi and the French composer Tristan Murail. Koskelin studied clarinet at the Helsinki Conservatory and musicology at the University of Helsinki.

Koskelin has been teaching at the Uniarts Helsinki’s The Theatre Academy’s Department of Dance since 1987. He has also taught at Helsinki University, Sibelius Academy and Aalto University.
