About

He – a graduate of classical studies who devoted himself to ballet, dancing, among others, in George Balanchine’s American Ballet. The first man in Martha Graham’s troupe, with whom he also entered into a relationship.

She – the daughter of Polish immigrants, a would-be medical student who gave up everything to pursue her artistic passions. They met in New York. After the artistic and emotional divorce from Martha Graham, he began to look for his own path in the world of dance, SHE – studied composition with Edgar Varèse and piano with Grete Sultan...

One day he asked Sultan to recommend him a tutor. It was her that the pianist recommended him, Lucia Długoszewski. Soon, not only was she involved in tutoring, but also began to write music for performances in which HE danced. This album includes two compositions that are the result of mutual artistic inspiration of both musicians.
