The Faust Symphony, first performed in Weimar in 1857, is one of Franz Liszt’s most significant compositions. For the recording of his transcription of this work for organ, Hansjörg Albrecht played the celebrated Klais organ in the Philharmonic Hall of the Gasteig, Munich.
