This CD was initially brought out in 1981 to commemorate the Bartók Centenary Year. It was programmed by Cecilia Vajda to help School Choirs, College Ensembles and Adult Amateur Choral Groups in their approach to Bartók.
The performers on this recording were students of the Welsh College of Music and Drama who gave concerts annually under their founder and director Cecilia Vajda.
