Beautifully packaged and presented, 'Au Vieux Moulin' is Dan Evans’ new CD album produced in the UK. It also includes two duets with Stephen Seifert, the World’s leading dulcimer player, recorded in an award-winning studio in Nashville.

On this new recording, the virtuosity of Dan’s playing encompasses a wide variety of styles, from early music though to contemporary folk songs. Also featured are a number of new and original minimalist compositions, composed for and performed on the dulcimer by Dan.

On 'Au Vieux Moulin' Dan is accompanied by international jazz bass player Andy Crowdy and Shakespearean actor Rebecca Hallworth on vocals.

Dan is the leading UK exponent on the dulcimer and one of the leading finger-style players in the world. He is also a hugely accomplished and stylish guitarist, now with 5 CD albums and 15 international tours under his belt. Equally at home performing at folk and classical venues, he has regaled and moved audiences on both sides of the Atlantic and won critical international acclaim for his polished, professional recordings.
