Schwarzer Peter (Black Peter) is a tuneful children's opera by Norbert Schultze (premièred in 1936), composer of the famous Marlene Dietrich song 'Lili Marleen'. The song 'Ach, ich hab’ in meinem Herzen', one of Rudolf Schock’s biggest hits, is the most popular piece from Schwarzer Peter.
The Electrola production of 1964 features the well-known Electrola cast Anneliese Rothenberger, Gerhard Unger, Heinz Hoppe and Toni Blankenheim, conducted by the composer himself.
