About

Ann Murray (born 1949, Dublin) has sung at all the major opera houses and is particularly noted for her performances in works by Handel, Mozart and Richard Strauss. In 2002 she was made Honorary Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire for her services to music. She maintains her links with Ireland and is patron of the Young Associate Artists Programme of Dublinís Opera Theatre.

This delightful recital of Irish Songs is another one of her links, beautifully performed and accompanied by the distinguished pianist Graham Johnson.
