About

Lithuanian pianist Evelina Puzaite is the winner of the Abstract Securities Landor Competition 2006, the unanimous choice of a distinguished panel of judges. A performer of dazzling promise, she has been compared by many to the young Martha Argerich.

‘Moments Musicaux’ is a recital of music chosen by Evelina and showcases her extraordinary technique. The repertoire includes Liszt’s beautiful ‘Trois Études de Concert’ and Rachmaninov’sMoments Musicaux’ alongside Kodaly’sDances of Marosszek’, based on Transylvanian folk songs.

Evelina was also keen to include some preludes by Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, a Lithuanian composer and painter who is credited with being the founder of both Lithuanian painting and music.

Evelina Puzaite is the recipient of numerous awards including First Prize at the Rubinstein Piano Competition and First Prize in Tel-Hai International Piano Competition, Israel, and has performed throughout Lithuania, Russia, Israel, Sweden, Greece, the USA and many other countries across Western Europe.
