About

François-Joseph Naderman was not only a brilliant harpist but also an active tutor, composer, publisher and harp maker. He was the first harp professor of the École Royale Conservatoire de Paris.

The most famous pieces by Naderman are these seven sonatas, which are clear examples of some of the most beautiful music written for the single–action pedal harp.

Nasumi Nagasawa demonstrates why she is regarded as one of the world’s greatest exponents of this wonderful, yet notoriously difficult, instrument.
