The New College Choir, Oxford, is one of the leading choral ensembles in the world, celebrated for its distinctive and stylish performance of music from five centuries.

This DVD edition includes the moving documentary “Inspiring Voices”, a filmed concert and two CDs, packaged in a luxury DVD-sized digipack.

The documentary “Inspiring Voices” portrays Edward Higginbottom’s last weeks as the Choirmaster of New College Choir which he had led for thirty-eight years. Higginbottom unveils the secrets of his pedagogy and his devotion to choral music at a critical and moving moment in his life.

The concert at the Sheldonian Theatre, Oxford on 31 May 2014 was designed to draw together various strands of the Choir’s life, past and present.
