Yannick Nézet-Séguin combines subtlety, energy and power in his interpretations and concerts. In 2018, Yannick Nézet-Séguin ended his duties at the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, where he remains honorary conductor, becoming musical director of the New York Metropolitan Opera. At the  very centre of the included concert recording of Shostakovich’s Fourth Symphony with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra lies the intense communication between conductor and orchestra.
