New series of unreleased iconic jazz concerts from the archives of Belgium public TV – newly captured from original film material. Duke Ellington and his orchestra playing at the Marni Theatre (Théâtre Marni), Brussels in 1973.

Duke Ellington, the American composer, pianist and leader of a jazz orchestra, which he led from 1923 until his death over a career spanning more than fifty years, wrote more than one thousand compositions. Probably the largest personal jazz legacy of all times.

In 1999, he was posthumously awarded the Pulitzer Special Price Award.
