Songs For My Daughter is a deeply personal album. I have brought together my favourite classical songs and lullabies which I sing to my daughter. I wanted to capture the natural voice of a mother singing to her child and I was really happy to record on location in the chapel of St Peter’s College, Oxford University. The soaring acoustics of the chapel combined with only a piano accompaniment have contributed to a very direct and natural recording.’ – Laura-Jane Foley
