This 10-CD box set contains some of the world’s best classical cellists: Jacqueline du Pré, Pablo Casals, Mstislav Rostropovich, Pierre Fournier, Paul Tortelier, Gregor Piatigorsky and Emanuel Feuermann. These high-class interpretations include some of the most significant recordings of all-time.

The set features accompanying artists of the highest order, including Friedrich Gulda, Rudolf Serkin, Jascha Heifetz, Arthur Rubinstein and others. They perform concertos and chamber music by Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Walton, Bruch and others.
