ArtistsDaniel Cook (organ)
Sir George Dyson was one of the foremost British composers and educators in the first half of the 20th Century. In 1900 he gained a scholarship to the RCM. After a period of study with Stanford he was appointed to Marlborough College and then onto the Wellington College before becoming Director of the RCM. He was knighted in 1942 and retired in 1952. His organ works are little known.
Daniel Cook, Assistant Organist of Westminster Abbey, continues his considerable survey of British organ works for Priory with this issue. He plays the organ of St Mary, Redcliffe, Bristol.
