This album celebrates the multi-award-winning scores of many blockbuster films: The Theory Of Everything (Golden Globe Award for ‘Best Original Score’), The King’s Speech (BAFTA Award for ‘Best Film Music’), Lincoln (Critics Choice Awards ‘Best Score’) and War Horse (BMI Film Music Award)

A highlight is the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s performance of the iconic theme from the last James Bond film, Skyfall. It also features music from recent favourites Paddington, Frozen, The Hobbit and How To Train Your Dragon 2.

During its near-70 year history, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra has performed on the soundtracks to many famous films, from Powell and Pressburger’s iconic 'The Red Shoes' to David Lean’s Academy Award-winning 'A Passage To India', plus many more recent releases such as 'Enduring Love', 'Ladies In Lavender' and 'Valiant'.
