A first volume (DSD350078) presented some among the most famous works by the Hungarian pianist-composer Franz Liszt. This last volume proposes more mysterious pages, Mephistophelean with their dancing flavours, their satanic, doleful, gloomy, or oblivious aspects and with indelible threnodies.

2015 sees the centenary of the birth of Sviatoslav Teofilovich Richter, widely considered one of the greatest pianists of the 20th century, celebrated for the depth of his interpretations, virtuoso technique and vast repertoire.

Recorded in Moscow, 9 May 1957 (Scherzo and March, Ave Maria, Pensee des morts, Nuages Gris), 5 February 1958 (Mephisto Waltz no.1, Funerailles, Valse oubliee no.2); Budapest, 11 September 1982 (Andante lagrimoso); Cologne, 10 March 1988 (Mephisto Polka), recorded and broadcased by the WDR.
