The BBC Music Magazine Awards are the only classical music awards in which the main categories are voted for by the public.
The nominations represent the best of more than 1,500 recordings reviewed by BBC Music Magazine each year, and feature an eclectic array of household names as well as newcomers to the field.
All nominations can be viewed below - click on the images for further information or to purchase.
Voting is at www.bbcmusicmagazine.com/awards where specially-produced videos and audio extracts from each of the recordings are available to help voters chose their favourites. Voting will close on 28th February 2010.
All who cast votes will be entered into a prize draw to win one of three award-winning Yamaha MCS-1330 hi-fi systems, with iPod docks and Yamaha Piano high-polish speakers, as well as all 18 nominated discs.
The Awards will be announced at the BBC Music Magazine Awards ceremony, being held on Tuesday 13 April. In addition to the categories voted for by the public, there are five Jury Awards, which as well as Disc of the Year, include Premiere Recording, Technical Excellence, Best Newcomer, and DVD of the Year.
