About

This new disc from Lara St.John includes two world premiere works. Composers John Corigliano and Matthew Hindson are two of the most important musicians on the global scene. Corigliano won an Academy Award and a Grammy for his music to the film The Red Violin. These two composers were present during the recording sessions.

The disc also includes Liszt’s ‘Totentanz’ arranged by Lara St.John and re-orchestrated by Martin Kennedy.

“Wild, idiosyncratic, and gripping.” - LA Times

“It is difficult to argue with such a technically dazzling and unfailingly musical interpretation.” - Gramophone
