LORELT label. Peter Child was born in England in 1953, but has spent
the whole of his musical life in the USA, where he is currently
composer-in-residence with the Albany Symphony Orchestra in New York.
He has written for orchestra, chorus, voice and various chamber groups,
and this generous programme by Lontano gives an excellent impression of
a truly individual and accessible voice, well worth repeated hearings.
