More Details on Songs without Words: Music for Flute and Harp
The Duo Andrea Kollé and Jasmine Vollmer have performed together since 2005. They met during their work in the Orchester der Oper Zurich, where they soon discovered a common love of vocal music. This led to the idea of making a recording with classical songs and opera arias arranged for their two instruments, flute and harp.
They began collecting compositions and finally put them together into the programme ‘Songs Without Words’. The basis of this programme is founded upon the beautiful compositions of Mendelssohn's Lieder ohne Worte (Songs without words).
