More Details on Baby Symphony: Baby’s Musical Journey
Carefully selected for young people and performed by the major London orchestras, 'Baby Symphony' complements its companion releases, Baby Cello and Peter and the Wolf.
It works on two levels. Studies have shown that classical music, played during pregnancy and to young children, has a beneficial effect on creative and intellectual development. Going further, Baby Symphony contains music by many of the most renowned classical composers of the past 300 years, and repeated hearings will not only familiarise young people with beloved melodies and phrases but will help them begin to appreciate the sweeping evolution of great music, which has had such a profound and positive effect on our lives.
The music has been chosen to engage baby's interest by encouraging play while prompting a sense of wonder. It is flowing, graceful and uplifting.
